Brataccas is a sci-fi adventure game that was pieced together from the smoldering remains of Bandersnatch, one of Imagine Software's overly ambitious "Megagames" which was originally set to release on the ZX Spectrum before Imagine went bankrupt in the summer of 1984, resulting in its cancellation. It would later become inspiration for Netflix's 2018 interactive film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Brataccas is also the first game to be developed and released by the prolific Psygnosis.
While its atmosphere and graphics were praised, the control scheme was...less than good. This particular version is known for being one of the few Atari ST games to take advantage of the 4-color mode as well as the monochrome monitor.
