The creators of the project management app MacProject also released this free backgammon game.
Revisional Differences#
In version 2.0, you can ask the computer to suggest your next move, and Command-drag pieces to set up a custom situation.
Application Bundle#
MacProject's creator code was MPRJ; Backgammon continues down the alphabet with MPRK for a creator code and MPRL for a document type.
 |
(The game never actually saves any documents, but if it did, they'd have the same icon MacProject's do.) |
Version 2.0 was produced by David Young, who changed the creator code to MPDY, incorporating his initials. The unused MacProject icon no longer exists in this version.
Intentionally Left Blank#
DLOG 9 is an empty dialog whose contents belong to the nonexistent DITL 9. The DLOG's window title is "Bogus Alert".
Build Dates#
The owner resources supply these dates:
Backgammon version 1.0 November 13, 1984
Backgammon version 2.0 June, 1989
