  • "2 Player" is still called "Multiplayer" on the main menu.
  • Several of the skateboarders are missing bios.
  • A level select can be accessed by holding L1 and pressing Triangle, Right, Up, Square, Triangle, Left, Up, Square, Triangle.
  • Debug info by holding L1 and pressing Down, Down, Triangle, Down, Down, Triangle.
  • Cash icons and goal-specific collectibles also appears in Single Session and Free Skate modes. Collecting them in these modes completes their respective goals in Career mode.
  • Skate Shop has been added.
  • It's not possible to buy decks yet. Well, you can but doing so won't unlock them and you will be wasting your precious money.
  • "Options" brings up the Skate Shop when selected.

Levels Differences#

Hangar#

  • Normally inaccessible due to the level only being blocked out with very rough texturing.
  • Mock advertisements for Delbonics Airlines and Alcoholics Anonymous is present.
  • There's rotating boxes to represent pilot wings and they are called hall passes.
  • There are two layers of glass between the sections of the hangar.
  • The area outside the helipad is absent.
  • However, there's an upstairs area that would later be expanded in THPS2X.

School II#

Prototype

Final

  • The kicker below the bell at the start is missing in the demo.

Prototype

Final

  • There's a dumpster between these two rails near the big wall that got removed later.
  • There are EIGHT hall passes to be collected!!! Thankfully, it was reduced to only five in the final version.
  • "Kickflip TC's Roof Gap" goal doesn't seem to be working.
  • Four "spots" needs to be found to complete the "Roll Calls" goal instead of the three long rails.

Prototype

Final

  • In the stage area, there's no skid marks on the floor indicating where the ramp is.

Venice Beach#

  • The 2 player version is based on a much earlier version, containing several outside surroundings. It's large enough to potentially crash the game.
