Music#

Color Dungeon#

The Color Dungeon music was created on or around August 24, 1998, but the prototypes "teszelda.com/cgbzelda.com and C.isx" dated August 27, 1998 and September 1, 1998 respectively do not contain the music in the data yet.

There are two versions of this music, the final version dated October 30, 1998 and stored in "DEMO_zelda\New_sound\bgm_1.bin" and the older version dated August 24, 1998 is stored in "DEMO_zelda\New_sound\1998-10-29\bgm_1.bin". The older version of the music is used in the prototypes "T.isx and ZASSI.isx".

Ending#

Prototype

Final

The no-death ending behaves differently in the prototype. Here, Marin's wish to fly like a seagull is granted, much like in the original monochrome version. However, she uses Link's palette instead of her own.
