This article has a talk page! This page details one or more prototype versions of Syvalion (Arcade).
A localization of Syvalion was planned to be released in the arcades. For some reason, the localization ended up being scrapped, remaining unfinished, and the game became exclusive to Japan.
A prototype H-System board containing this unreleased localization was found in 2013 and dumped in MAME. Since the set is labeled as "World, prototype" in MAME, for comparison's sake, it'll be compared with the World set with the official PS2 Taito Legends's localization.
General Differences#
Taito Logo's Splash Screen#
The splash screen featuring the new Taito logo (always shown in many Taito games after Chase H.Q.) is completely absent in the prototype version, since it still uses the old Taito logo.
