Lots more differences.
Bugs, lots of 'em. For example, messing with the Pause screen seems to allow you to skip across levels.

Audio Differences#

Music does not play in certain areas, such as the Caves.
The whinny/neigh sound effect appears to be a voice-over, whereas the final version sounds like it was recorded from a real horse.

The title screen does not have the "***PRESS START***" or copyright info text at this point. The logo is also different, with "CRYSTAL'S" being a bit smaller and "PONY TALE" being smaller and in a much different font.

Passing though a gate gives you the message "Pony Pass Level", which was changed for the final. The "Good Job" sound effect is also missing.
