A prototype of Awesome Possum Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt! was leaked by the scene group CENSOR on October 5, 1993, about seven weeks before the game's release. It should be noted that despite the timing, it's actually earlier in development than a build the group had leaked two months earlier.

To do: Cover the other two builds listed on Hidden Palace.

Differences#

• Awesome's head in the top-left corner decays into a skeleton as you lose health. The final replaced this with him looking progressively more tired until sporting X-eyes.
• Dying causes Awesome to quickly rot into a skeleton.
• The transition to the Game Over screen fades to red. The final changed this to teal.
