World of Goo

This page details pre-release information and/or media for World of Goo.

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

To do: Concept art seen in the removed blog section of 2dboy site. The link to the archived pages are right here There is another trailer with notable differences from the final game in it

Trailer 1#

The first trailer shows an earlier version of the final release, from around September 2007.

Differences#

The Cookies font is used for text. Along with this, the balloon gooballs have eyes (while not easy to spot, they do indeed have eyes), which are omitted from the final release. Two levels are included as well, cut from the final release: Straight Up (fireplace) and Cog in the Machine (gear in the center). In addition, a very early version of The Red Carpet is shown, with the same general puzzle at the start but being completely different otherwise. It’s unknown if there were any other scrapped levels from the Tower of Goo prototypes here or not. Watch on YouTube

Early Music#

This page or section needs more audio. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough audio. Please fix this.

The music that was released in the World of Goo soundtrack page in Kyle Gabler's website are different and earlier than the music used in the game.
