Cut content shown in trailer#
Watch on YouTubeThe Toonstruck trailer on the Steam Store (http://store.steampowered.com/app/369830/) shows some content that is not in the final game.
At 0:55 there's a character (presumably Vincent Van Gogh) yelling "Of course I'm Vincent Van Gogh you idiot!", a character and location that is not seen in the game itself. There are further scenes of him later in the trailer, where he is sounding a gong and then another firing a gun.
At 1:55 there is an unclear silouette (maybe two characters, or one character riding something) flying in front of the sun while Drew and Flux watch from the foreground.
Other cut content seen in developer screenshots#
Artist Laura Janczewska's portfolio has this movie of Drew in a Wild West area that isn't present in the final game. Drew was originally meant to have a showdown with a cowboy in this area but the whole section was cut before the first beta.
There were a number of other areas that were cut, including some kind of swamp and a dark bedroom with creepy monsters, but these don't seem to have progressed past the art design stage.
