This page details pre-release information and/or media for THE NEW DENPA MEN.
The first trailer from February 2024, 5 months from the Nintendo Switch version's release, has a lot of differences.
YouTube Trailer#
- The catch background has sharp triangles, instead of the rounded ones sen in the final game.
- There is also a "manner mode" button, but the Switch has no camera, making the button redundant.
- The camera angle for accepting a caught Denpa Man is different.
- The label for the "Party" button is smaller, and closer to the button.
- The revive antenna is pretty inconsistent throughout the video, taking its appearance from NEW Denpa Ningen no RPG occasionally.
- The Denpa Men gradually speed up and slow down when attacking, rather than a consistent speed.
- The level up stats popup has a different texture, resembling the one seen in the first game.
- This also applies to the create preview's stats.
- The Denpa Man's name, level, and happiness are shown on the top of the interact menu, instead of the right.
- The menu showing the other Denpa Men in the box is missing, because of that.
- The happiness cap for level 20 is 50 instead of 20.
- The equipment list is shown in a grid instead of a list.
- Like in the interact menu, the menu showing the other Denpa Men is missing.
- The experience needed to get to level 2 is 9 instead of 10.
- The charm resistance is shown covering the element resistances.
- There are dots shown below the decoration type select.
- The minus button changed the sorting instead of the plus button. This is not the case in the equipment selection, suggesting that clip was recorded using a later version.
- The rarity star is slightly offset.
- The Denpa Men are shown T-posing in the icons during the Flame Foxer battle clip.
