Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted

Prerelease Build#

Throughout most of the game's marketing campaign, a work-in-progress build of the game was used for advertisement purposes and screenshots. There are various differences of note as a result.

• The title and loading screens feature Cabbage-Pult sporting a design much more similar to how it appears in Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time. This was fixed to one that matches PvZ1 better in the final game.
• Ice Level is present in the Bonus Levels section alongside the other Limbo Page minigames that made it into the final. For whatever reason (likely due to its particularly unfinished nature), it was removed from the final. It is unknown if the other Limbo Page minigames missing from the final build (i.e. Bungee Blitz and the other Survival: Endless modes) are present.
• The menu page for Survival Mode features a level labeled simply as "China". This may have been a placeholder for the Great Wall Edition level present as an easter egg in the Achievements section in the final build.
• The seed packets are missing the "Bloom & Doom Seed Co." labels at the top.
• The Dr. Zomboss fight features some very bizarre plants appearing on the conveyor belt alongside the expected ones, including Peashooters, Scaredy-Shroom, and even Sunflowers.
• For some reason, Zombotany plays during the Zomboss fight instead of Brainiac Maniac, unless that was edited in.
• Screenshots featured on store pages such as the Nintendo Eshop feature the money counter with numbers that aren't multiples of 5, indicating they may have been planning to rebalance coin collecting at some point before reverting.
