In June 2000, Fulp posted four screenshots from the Pico 2 game, which was being developed at the time. Interestingly, the first screenshot shows additional surrounding objects, such as trees, birds, and fences, that were not present in the public version of the game.

In 2002, Tom Fulp published a blog post about pico 2 development with two more screenshots. The first screenshot shows Pico walking in the park. Darnell and the boy are missing from the park itself, and Pico is holding an MP5K, not an AK-47. The second screenshot shows a Tom Fulp's and Mindchamber's art style class. It is remarkable here that one of Darrell's hands is incorrectly colored, and Nene's sprite looks different.

Pico's Redesign#
Tom Fulp was unhappy with Pico's appearance in the first game and decided to redesign it to make it look better. In search of the perfect design, he turned to several artists for help.
1. Ryan's Concept: Ryan originally created Pico and other characters in a more anime-like style. However, Tom was not satisfied with this image, because Tom Fulp wanted a pico without pupils.
2. Zybarf's Concepts: Tom then asked Zybarf to redesign Pico, but none of the results met Tom's expectations.
3. Concepts of Jose: In the end, Tom invited Jose to take on this task. Jose created two different concepts for Pico, both of which Tom found satisfactory. This design was used in the demo.
