Famitsu Screenshots#

To do:

  • See if these images can be found elsewhere.
  • Compare the two other screenshots.
  • Some of these (included the one below) are more like in-game artwork rips than screenshots - no HUD.

From this Famitsu website article dated July 2009, though the images have "last modified" dates in October 2009.

Early

Final

This screenshot shows the 9th man threatening Clover with a knife while grinning, to the right of the 5th door. In the final, there is a more angled view of the background and the 9th man doesn't grin until he has moved to the left of the door.

US Trailer#

In a US trailer, there is an image of the 9th man's hand on a RED. While he does place his hand on a RED in-game, there is no unique image, like with the other characters - instead it just shows an asterisk appearing on the device's screen.

They may have added this to hide the fact that the 9th man dies early on in the game.

Weekly Famitsu interview#

Two unused illustrations were revealed in an interview with Kotaro Uchikoshi in the February 11, 2010 issue of Weekly Famitsu. The left image depicts a past Nonary Game held by Lord Gordain, while the right one depicts millionaires living it up in a casino.
