Joypad Magazine Issue 10, July 1992#

On Page 21 of Issue 10 of Joypad Magazine, there are three images of New Adventure Island. Although this issue was released after New Adventure Island released, two of the images still show differences to the final game.

Prerelease	Final

The first image shows a version of the intro cutscene. In the prerelease, the church has a much denser and greener background resembling a jungle, while the final game opts for a few palm trees and blue skies instead.

The second image shows a section of level from 1-1. The prerelease image has different tree and cloud placements to the final game, and the trees appear to be much smaller and with fewer coconuts than the ones in the final game.
