The Crate Escape Trailer#
- The most obvious difference is the name, which reads "Crate Escape" instead of "Escape 2 Africa".
- The version of the game in this trailer seems to be running on Renderware, the engine used in the first Madagascar game.
- At 0:09 is shown a completely different version of Marty's Race compared to what we got in the final game.
- At 0:10 there is a silver coin behind Alex. In the final game, there is a bronze coin in that place.
- At 0:15 Alex is doing the double jump animation from the first Madagascar game.
- At 0:17 and 0:19 are shown slightly different versions of the minigames in Prepare to Launch.
- At 0:22 there is an arrow on top of Gloria's head, as well as a bubbles counter. We know it's a bubble counter thanks to an unused voiceline. These are both missing from the final game.
- At 0:25 there is a silver coin in the background, in the final game there are no coins in that place.
- At 0:29 the rock in the background where the monkey is standing looks different from the final game.
- At 0:30 Gloria is standing in a different area than where she would be in the final game.
