Emergency Everyday#

Watch on YouTubeLen'en started out as a one-game project by the circle Lapxus, an actual team focused on doujin gamedev. The member Daijin (大臣) made all of the game up until Serintsu's Stage 3, at which point the member BIGBOSS made a gameplay video of it with voice commentary. Daijin then added his own text commentary on top and BIGBOSS uploaded it to Niconico on June 8th, 2010, making it the first time Len'en goes public.
The project however eventually faced complications and was given up on, but since the circle was JynX's upperclassmen, he was interested in the project and asked if it could be given to him instead. They allowed it with the condition that the name of the series must be kept.
(An advice, the volume of the video is seriously low. Please raise your volume for this and not anything else.)
In the video that BIGBOSS uploaded, we can see what eventually became Evanescent Existence, with conceptual versions of the characters (Serintsu becoming Yabusame Houlen, Daijin being Tsubakura Enraku, and Bigboss becoming Kurohebi) as well as some differences from the final game.

  • This version of the game was titled Emergency Everyday.
  • The STG frame's background consists of the colors red, green and purple being alternated.

That said, some is also still the same even at this point, such as the facts that playable Daijin needs to be unlocked and you fight the other playable character at Stage 3 instead of a new character.
