Tokyo Game Show 2003#
The trailer shows several events that never occur in any demo builds or retail builds of the game:
- 0:45 - A brief scene takes places showing two cloaked people discussing something
- 0:52 - An earlier build of Twilight Town showing it as being much more industrial in design
- 1:15 - Roxas chasing after the Photo thief dusk in a different area of Twilight Town with the Dusk vanishing into a wall instead of going through the entrance to the forest
- 1:44 - Organization XIII meeting Sora and company in Hollow Bastion instead of the Baily in Radiant Garden
- 1:57 - Hollow Bastion from Kingdom Hearts I appearing with Neo-Shadows from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix in a cutscene where the trio chase down an unknown Organization XIII member
- 2:32 - The meeting between Ansem-Riku and DiZ being observed from a security camera for a brief moment
- 2:34 - Donald Duck accidentally freezing himself by using Blizzard while trying to wake up Goofy
- 3:23 - A TGS exclusive scene where Donald Duck stares at the audience and gives a thumbs up and wink with Goofy come by to look, then Donald Duck being dragged off by Sora with Goofy waving good-bye

- 1:05 - Roxas chasing after the Photo thief dusk in a different area of Twilight Town with the Dusk vanishing into a wall instead of going through the entrance to the forest
- 1:12 - Axel is shown to be grinning rather than looking sad that Roxas finally remembers him, the angle that shows Axel walking across the room is looking up at him as well
- 1:36 - Hollow Bastion from Kingdom Hearts I appearing with Neo-Shadows from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix in a cutscene where the trio chase down an unknown Organization XIII member
- 1:44 - Dusks in the Cave of the Dead Entrance - Olympus Colosseum entrance
- 1:53 - Sora alone in The Lock - Olympus Colosseum
- 2:00 - Donald and Goofy HUDs are missing here, which may explain the previous sections as Sora is seen alone in those shots but their HUDs and guest character HUDs missing
- 2:45 - Organization XIII meeting Sora and company in Hollow Bastion instead of the Baily in Radiant Garden
- 2:56 - Battle of 1,000 Heartless but the trio are fighting together rather than separately, of note is the Behemoth and Wyvern from Kingdom Hearts I are also present here
Of interest regarding the Hollow Bastion segments in the trailer; while the castle is present in the game files, the castle itself has no collision data assigned to it.
