US Box#

The screenshots on the back of the US box are identical to the ones used on the box of the Apple II and Commodore 64 ports, which had been released over a year earlier. This may suggest that the NES version closely resembled the computer iterations, and by extension the original arcade game, at one point in development.

• The characters look more detailed and human-like.
• Neither of these levels exist in the final version.
• The US flag at the top was removed.
• The font is bigger.
• Players are referred to as "1Up" and "2Up" rather than "1P" and "2P".
