Spinal Tap#

The Spinal Zap weapon was originally called the "Spinal Tap", after "a syringe filled with nerve agent doctors inject into the spinal column to relax women during childbirth." According to designer Scott Marshall, this was (unsurprisingly) changed at Nintendo of America's request; regardless, an image of the syringe version is used in the manual. The sprite is not present in the ROM, but can be seen in the prototype.
