The Bullet-Proof Software logo had a white background and the company's name. Both the company logo and title screen seem to include a blank version of the HUD at the bottom of the screen.

The title screen is much more basic, with a completely different title logo in set in black on a white background.
Interestingly, although in November of 1991 Henk would say the title would be Faceball 4000 for the SNES port, both this early version and the later previews show the title as Faceball 2000.

A vastly different look to the game. Rather than a small window in the middle of the screen surrounded by a large grey HUD, the gameplay window takes up most of the screen with a orange HUD across the bottom.

- Video Games & Computer Entertainment Issue 34 (November 1991) - "Rogers made a point that the Game Boy version is simply the beginning of a series. It’s encouraging that he started to talk about Face Ball 4000, an SNES version of FaceBall 2000. The multiplayer capabilities will be as prevalent, though some details still have to be worked out. The design calls for either a two- or four- player split screen, which will enable each player to view the action from his own face's perspective. This version is targeted for release around the spring of 1992."↩︎
- Power Tour Review - "Faceball 2000: Ugh.. What can I say.. This game SUCKED! It had like three colors, and the only redeeming thing about it was that you could play two players, but even this feature gets tiresome. Easily the worst game of the tour."↩︎

- SNES Game Impressions from CES (Really LONG!) - "Faceball 2000 (Bulletproof) - It looks nice, but only two players? Running through a maze, shooting at opponents gets old in a hurry. Even faster if you can only have two humans in the maze! This title is not well suited to the SNES. Now I WOULD like to play a Lynx version!"↩︎
