GT Screens#

Uploaded to the VGHF's Digital Archive as part of "Atari production file backups" is a folder titled GT Screens, comprising a number of screenshots ranging from March 18th to April 1st 2005.

GT3

Final

A comma was added, and Earth was moved to the next line. Dende's position was very slightly adjusted.

GT5

Final

Zoonama is missing his whiskers. Additionally, no minibots or enemies of any kind are present during the boss battle.

GT7

Final

The egg-carrying Rok's had their palette changed to differentiate them from the normal versions. There also appears to be a palette issue with the fallen egg in the background.

GT8

Final

Another palette issue, this time involving Trunks' projectile attack.

GT9

Final

Yet another broken palette in the early screenshots. This time it's the missiles turn.

STAR MAP

Final

The star system in the background was completely redrawn to a lighter coloured version. The Star Map header was recoloured to yellow, and the position of the map was moved upwards. The positions of the planets were adjusted, and Select A Planet was changed to Choose A Planet. Tuffle Planet was originally called Planet Vegeta.

Manual#

At no point during Transformation's Story Mode does the player control Super Saiyan Goku.

What seems likely to be a mock-up shot, considering the elements that don't match the area in-game.

  • Despite the manual actually explaining that health meters display the names of enemies and bosses, neither actually do in the final game.
  • No regular enemies are present during Ledgic's boss fight.
  • The Dragon Radar indicating the player needs to progress forward doesn't appear during the boss battle, as it's the last section of the stage.
