E3 2011 Trailer#
This footage was created at least around the May 22, 2011 prototype. While significantly more finished than the April 3, 2011 prototype, it still has quite a bit of changes.
Inside the Red Castle 3-1: Hedge Maze#
- Many clips of this area show that the hats were untextured. It also reveals that the gameplay is from the Xbox 360 version.
- The timer is shown to have a different design.
- At one point, the old blocks with coins and enemies inside them (as seen in the April 3, 2011 prototype) can be seen in the background. They can also be seen in a few clips from Door Factory.
Door Factory 3-1: Door Wash#
- At the beginning of the area, the portal when opening a door looks different. It looks like an animated version of the one in the April 3, 2011 prototype.
E3 2011 Gameplay#
A bit of gameplay of an E3 demo has also been circulating around the internet.
Wonderland Woods 1-2: Woods#
- The footage starts with a challenge having just been completed. It's unknown what the challenge was (it was likely Chicken Run), but there is no "Challenge Complete!" text on top of the finish icon. In place of the trophy icon is also a star with the color of the trophy (being gold in this case).
- The gold number is smaller.
- The powerup box is different. Instead of being like a faceless VIC, it's a spinning cube with a question mark and drawings of VIC and HEX.
- When the Roto is first introduced, the "Roto" text introducing it is in a 4:3 safe area, rather than on the right of the screen.
Door Factory 3-1: Door Wash#
- The early timer design is seen again.
- A small box of gold is present instead of a big gold coin.
- The objective text was changed a bit, lacking a period.

Dodge the doors. |
- Similar to the April 3, 2011 prototype, a floating VIC is shown going towards the player (likely a redesign for the fairies seen in the prototype). Collecting it shows the animation when you get a blue star, only with a drawing of VIC, and it gives a powerup (in this case, it's the cork gun).
- Getting a blue star still says it upgrades "[character name]'s weapon" instead of "[character name]".
- The spike hazard has a different design.
