Semi-Used Areas#
A handful of side locations in the game, while clearly not unused, have left players mystified:
- One secret area along the outer castle wall (between the main entrance and the Herbology classroom) contains a large amount of purple Bouncing Bulbs, which can be defeated, except for a larger one which will turn orange and attack the player if provoked.
- The "Out of Bounds" room, which opens when the player owns at least 500 beans, offers an upgrade to the Flipendo spell. Not only is the wrong voice clip used, but the room is blatantly cut off (perhaps as a play on "out of bounds").

These files are located within POTTER.DAT, the filenames, offsets and sizes are stored in POTTER.DIR.
A ✓ mark pretty much means "name checks out" compared to voice clips. Comments currently include little to no observation of map data.
