This page details development materials of Tass Times in Tonetown (Apple II, Apple IIGS).

At KansasFest 2026, the estate of Becky "Burger" Heineman donated source code disks to the Apple II, Apple IIGS, and Commodore 64 versions of Tass Times in Tonetown. They were imaged at the festival and the results are available here.

The source code on these disks appears to include edits from after the initial release: the Apple IIGS code in particular makes GS/OS system calls that shouldn't have existed yet in 1986.

As the main page notes, the Apple IIGS version of the game uses an Apple II-formatted high resolution image. These development disks include an Apple IIGS-native super-high-resolution 16-color version of the image, along with a picture title and artist credit. Both the original and updated files are named YUMMY on-disk.
