Unused Music#

Five themes were composed yet scrapped for this game prior to release. They were originally used in the unreleased Project Gian/Neo Gian, but were ported as temporary tracks until early 2000 when they were replaced with more fitting music.

All of these were arranged and uploaded to ZUN's website except for Frontal Attack, which was exclusive to the 1999 Neo Gian prototype.

Unused Song (Shuusou Gyoku '98/'99)

Final Song

Notes

Plastic Space

False Strawberry

Arranged in February 2000 and is likely was one of the first themes to be replaced. The version arranged on ZUN's website is in a different key compared to the version heard in the footage of the 1999 Windows prototype.

Frontal Attack (Remake)

Primrose Shiver

Frontal Attack was never released on ZUN's website for unknown reasons. A remade version by SimTheNep and Chocofan/Yuyuko is used here.

Inventive City

Fantastic Imperial Capital

Arranged in March 2000 and is also likely one of the first themes to be replaced. As before, the arranged version on ZUN's website is in a different key compared to the version heard in the footage of the 1999 Windows prototype.

Hourai Illusion ~ Far East

Silk Road Alice

Originally the Extra Stage theme, it was likely replaced because it did not fit Marisa or Reimu.

Fly Above Hatoyama At Night

N/A

Originally a Test Stage theme for Neo Gian which was shown at a Hatoyama festival in 1998 for the PC-98 prototype. An extended version of this song was added to Perfect Memento in Strict Sense.
