Neopets is a stable of 2000s flash games, with at least one person from this time frame playing games on the site. It was acquired by Viacom in 2005 before being sold to JumpStart Games (ex-Knowledge Adventure) in 2014. The game has survived the transition to HTML5 and remains playable, even after the closure of JumpStart by its parent company NetDragon Websoft in July 2023.
