Founded in mid-2007 by frequenters of 4chan's /a/ board, having been inspired by a then-recently-posted 2000 omake page by doujin writer/artist ALITA of character art and a few ideas for a dating sim he called "Katawa Shoujo" to make said game a reality.
The group has only ever made one game, but certainly left its mark on the Visual Novel genre in doing so.
