Founded on December 15th, 1998, by Yutaka Kaminaga, WorkJam was a developer who notably had acquired the rights to Data East's Jake Hunter series.
The company shut down in 2011. Arc System Works (a company WorkJam had a close relationship with) would later acquire the rights to some IP such as Jake Hunter, Theresia, Nazo no Jikenbo, and Koneko no Ie from Expris on February 6th, 2017.
