Character Switch#
In Springfield or the Game Engine, it is possible to play any episode with any character by going near an episode entrance, and pressing (Start) and Y (Xbox 360) / Triangle (PS3) simultaneously, which should open the pause menu and immediately exit the game. At the main menu, select "Continue Game, which should crash the game, and restart the game after the crash.
Continue the game from your original save file, and choose a hub world or level from the episode list. Enter the episode, then immediately exit the episode, and exit the game entirely. Now, load a different save file (preferably a 100% or completed story mode save) and go to a hub world or select a level using the Episode Replay option. Use the bus stop to choose the characters you want or load a level to set the pair of characters.
Exit the episode or hub world, then exit the game and return to the save file selection menu. Switch back to your original save file and at the main menu, press "Continue Game." The game should now load the episode you previously selected, but with the characters chosen from the second save file. To switch episodes, Choose a new episode on the second save file, exit, and return to the first save to continue the glitch.
Alien Duplication#
In Shadow of the Colossal Donut, it is possible to duplicate the aliens by placing your buddy character behind Lard Lad Donuts in a stationary position and continually switch from both characters.
