??? Before Unlock#

If you die with the Ankh item and respawn as ???, you can hold R to do a new run as ???, even before unlocking him.

Brimsnap#

Firing a laser with the Brimstone item, then repeatedly tapping the same key in the direction you fired allows you to deal additional damage. This also as a result, makes Isaac appear as if he is firing the Brimstone laser towards the bottom of the screen, although the laser is still being fired in the direction you fired.

This bug has been dubbed the Brimsnap by the community.

Ipecac Double Explosion#

If you use the Remote Detonator shortly after launching a projectile with IPECAC it will cause a second explosion in the same location. This is purely visual; the explosion sound won't play and the explosion doesn't affect anything.

White Screen#

Sometimes during the map screen between floors the game will not respond for a few seconds, and sometimes when it responds again, some graphics will turn more white, most notably Isaac (or should we say, The Lost).

Invincibility with A Pony#

While A Pony is in your inventory, pressing Space without hitting any directional key will make you invincible until you move by hitting the arrow keys, activating the item. Invincibility is magic, said a pink pony baking cupcakes.

240 Pill#

Due to a seemingly rare bug, the game can lag/stop when a glitched pill named '240' has been identified with the PHD. The pill itself has no effect on the character or its appearance, likely due to it not being intended to appear.
