Accidental Praise#

In v1.0.0 of Baldi's Basics Classic, the hints related to Baldi normally shown upon getting a question wrong weren't displayed, causing the "WOW! YOU EXIST!" text to appear, overlapping the third problem, leading to a strange glitchy appearance.

1st Prize vs. Gotta Sweep#

A glitch can occur where 1st Prize and Gotta Sweep would both be pushing the player, causing Gotta Sweep to get stuck inside 1st Prize. The only known way to fix this glitch is to exit back to the main menu, get killed by Baldi, or get caught by the Principal before doing the glitch.

Invincible Corner Glitch#

In every version of the game and in Birthday Bash, if you go in any corner that's in the map, Baldi will be unable to kill you. However, as BSoda will also phase through him, effectively only delaying your demise. This doesn't work in Classic Remastered, where Baldi's hitbox is just big enough that he can still be able to kill you, thanks to the reworked engine in Plus.

Buggy Mouse Movement#

In earlier versions of the game, the mouse movement used to be buggy.

Non-working BSODA#

In version 1.2.1 and below, the BSODA's hitbox would not detect if a character is getting pushed by the BSODA's splash, effectively rendering it useless. This was announced as being fixed in version 1.2, but was ultimately only truly fixed in v1.2.2, which is coincidentally the version that received the most initial exposure. Talk about lucky timing!

Baldi's Turbo Ruler#

In versions 1.2.2 and below, if the player got 12 or more questions wrong, Baldi would become insanely fast, almost instantly catching the player. Starting from v1.3 this was changed as Baldi's anger system was overhauled, and additional incorrect answers that aren't required would only add to Baldi's new temporary anger mechanic, which decreases over time, allowing the new secret ending obtained by beating the game with all questions wrong to be beatable.

However, Baldi can still reach this insane speed by either waiting long enough in Endless Mode or by getting either the first or second answer wrong but the other two correctly in the first notebook, though in the latter case Baldi is mercifully prevented from reaching you and reverts to his normal speed after getting the second notebook. This latter glitch isn't present in Classic Remastered, as it checks if one answer is wrong, and if it is the game sets Baldi's speed to normal.
